The main attraction of La Palma is the enormous volcanic crater, La Caldera de Taburiente. Through the gorge of the river Angustina, you can walk into the crater. Parts of the way, you walk along the river itself, and sometimes you have to climb the mountainpath. The views are magnificent.

| You can end your walk at the coloured waterfall. Its red color is of the ironoxide. Another possible end of your trip is at a small rock, allowing you to see a large part of the Caldera. Or you can walk further, to another waterfall. |
