| Fuerteventura is the largest of the Canarian Islands. It is lying in the south-east. The mostly eastern winds get here first, and lose power when travelling to the others islands. Fuerteventura therefore is always windy, making it a great place for windsurfers and kiters. At places, the sea has pretty big waves, ideal for surfers. Furthermore, you can go diving, scuba-diving, swimming, sailing and so on. And on land, you can bike, drive a quad, play golf, walk and ride on a horse. In short: Fuerteventura is the place for active holidays. |
