In Göteborg there is a lot to see. The best way to explore Göteborg is to buy a Göteborg Card. This gives you free entrance or 50% discount to most of the city's sites, including the Konstmuseet with its collection of paintings by Rubens, van Gogh, Rembrandt and Picasso, the Maratima Centrum, where you can see the submarine Nordkaparan, the frigate Smaland and 17 other boats, the botanical garden Trädgards-föreningen with its butterflyhouse and lots of other sites. The Göteborg Card also gives you entrance to the Liseberg amusement park

Göteborgs skyline is dominated by the red & white building, which is the highest building in Scandinavia. The observation-platform at the top is called Utkiken.

The Paddan sightseeing boat is very popular. The first part of the 45 minute trip takes you through the canals of the city.
