When we arrived in Nha Trang, we found lots of schoolchildren all dressed up and parading. Probably something in celebration of we don't know who. Especially the children who had already passed the jury, seemed to enjoy their selves.

A Buddhist monk, crossing the road very slowly and praying with each step. Looking so serene in a busy land. |

| Nha Trang is the place in Vietnam to go snorkelling or diving. We had booked a try dive, so our dive-master did everything except breathing. And that was hard enough! But it was really great, swimming in an enormous aquarium, with corral and bright coloured fish everywhere. Really a wonderful experience. | |

| In Nha Trang is also a hill with some Cham temples. Strangely enough, some of the Hindu relics are still there, but the temples are also used by Buddhists to pray. Some local people made music and danced between the temples. | |

Not far from the Cham temples is a Buddhist temple with two
enormous Buddha's: one lying down and one sitting. The sitting Buddha sits
on top of a hill and can be seen from far away.

Near our hotel we found this statue of a lion. Because of the way he looks and waves at us, we think he is gay. |
